Skyward!!! Flying small planes for learning, adventures, fun, and profit!
One of my earliest memories is of building a hot air balloon with some newspaper, twine, cardboard, and some sticks. I was convinced that if I set the sticks in the balloon basket on fire, the balloon would rise and fly away. It turns out people have been making sky lanterns for a long time!
I built many balsa wood planes of all sizes up to radio controlled planes with 5 foot wingspans. But flying big planes was always the dream.
I eventually learned to fly with East Coast Aero Club and got a Private Pilot certificate and then an Instrument rating to be able to fly when weather is less than beautiful. Eventually I bought this lovely Cirrus SR22T G5 named Limoncello. It's the yellow one not the Canadian fighter jet!
